2 more days! Reminder of our October meeting Thursday October 8th at 5:30 pm at the Hamilton County EMS Administration building at 3916 Volunteer Drive Chattanooga TN 37416. If you’re not a member and have been thinking about joining, we would LOVE to have you attend and be a part of something really special. Don’t say you don’t have time because being a member takes very little time per month. Come to our next meeting and we will welcome you! Retired or working, doesn’t matter. We look forward to meeting you soon!!

The TN Valley Nurses Honor Guard was blessed this past Saturday to be able to honor one of our own. New member Sherry Thompson was honored on Saturday Oct 3, 2026 with the Florence Nightingale Tribute. Sherry exemplified what every nurse should possess-compassion, love, kindness, and all of the dedication it takes to be an exemplary nurse. Sherry had a servants heart and I speak for our entire chapter and community that we lost the best of the best. Sherry, watch over us all as we try to follow in your footsteps. 💔❤️

The TN Valley Nurses Honor Guard was happy to participate in the Camp Jordan Fall Festival this past weekend! Thank you to all of the members who helped us make it a great weekend! And no one dropped from the extreme heat 🥵 although I was close as we were shutting down. Congratulations to Erik Hennessy with Snow Hill Farms for donating to us and winning the basket!! And thanks to all who donated to our organization. We are deeply grateful!

Meet the TN Valley Nurses Honor Guard (most anyway). EST July 2025. We have just celebrated our chapters first year and have participated in 14 Nightingale tributes and 1 Living tribute to date. We feel so grateful and privileged to honor these nurses with their final tribute.

I wanted to send out a couple of thank you’s from recent “givers”. Thank you to member Cathy Lockwitz for your monetary donation to our chapter general fund. Also would like to thank the family of Sally Gregory who we recently provided her nursing tribute, for your donation as well. Our chapter survives from the generosity of others and we could not be more thankful and grateful for them being two of our recent Givers! ❤️

What an honor and privilege to provide a Living Tribute to former hospice nurse Sharon Scofeld RN today, 9-13-26. The TN Valley Nurses Honor Guard wanted to recognize her many years of sacrifice, dedication and compassion to her profession. Sharon was touched by the ceremony and and our dress in traditional white uniforms, cap and cape. Again we were honored to recognize this special nurse with a Living Tribute.
