Bambi and Beau 🐾

Still waiting for their forever! Littermates between 6-9 months old. Won’t get much bigger, about thirty lbs. They are great with Children/Dogs and will probably be fine with cats as they have no prey drive. They are gentle, docile, quiet and potty trained.

Beau and Bambi are getting their spay and neuter done on June 8, they have up to date shots, and have been dewormed.

Bambi and Beau are bonded but also fine separating as well. They are being well loved on by the women at Sacred Hearts, where they are very well socialized, know basic commands, have good manners, crate trained and just the sweetest babies ever who deserve their forever.

Meet Kylo 🐾

Kylo is a yellow lab + husky mix and one of the most easygoing, well-rounded dogs you’ll ever meet.

He’s a great car rider and loves being outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, or just spending time outside, Kylo is a solid companion and would fit right in with someone looking for a dog to share that kind of lifestyle.

In the home, he’s just easy.
Give him a couch or a dog bed, a bone, and he’s perfectly happy.

✨ Great with kids
✨ Loves other dogs
✨ Medium energy, balanced temperament

Kylo didn’t always have it this good.
He came from a really tough situation—he had significant fur loss and infections when he was found.

Today, he’s fully healed, healthy, and thriving.

He’s been fostered in a men’s recovery home with Sacred Hearts, where he’s been more than just a dog—he’s been part of something bigger. He’s brought comfort, consistency, and connection to men who are working hard to rebuild their lives.

The guys at Sacred Hearts love this dog—and it’s easy to see why.

Kylo loves his people, and everyone who meets him loves him right back.
He deserves a home of his own—not another stop, not another temporary place. A real home, with people who choose him and keep him.

Meet Bambi & Beau 🤍

These two sweet babies are littermates who were found dumped, starving, and full of worms… but you would never know it now. Thanks to the love poured into them inside our women’s recovery home, they’ve experienced what a second chance really feels like.

They’ve been surrounded by women learning to rebuild their lives — and in the process, these two have healed right alongside them. It’s been something really special to witness.

✨ Gentle, quiet, and incredibly affectionate
✨ Not showing interest in chasing animals (cats unknown)

HES is at critical capacity! ⚠ We are over capacity in our dog kennels and adoptions are extremely LOW! We adopted a mere TWO dogs this past weekend, and only a total of 8 all of last week. This is NOT sustainable and we need adopters and fosters to help! We cannot intake any more dogs if there is not a place to put them.

About HES's adoption process:
1. View our pets on our website and pick out a few that catch your eye! Be sure to notice their attributes, which can be seen on each of their profiles, that let you know important details, such as if they are in foster care, if they aren't good with other animals, etc. 🐶
2. Come meet them at HES! If the animals you're interested in are in foster care, you can make an appointment by calling, texting, or filling out an adoption application. If the animal is not in foster care, that means they're on site at the shelter, and you're welcome to come in without an appointment! 🐾
3. Apply to adopt! Fill out an adoption application if you haven't already, to get approved for adoption. Once you've been approved, you can move forward in the process! 📝
4. Take your new dog home! You may have to complete a meet-and-greet with your adopted dog and your current dog(s) before you're ready to take them home, but we'll help you do this as quickly as possible! 🏡

Bambi and Bo are ready for their forever homes. 🤍

These two sweet siblings (around 6 months old) are officially up for adoption after being rescued from a heartbreaking start—dumped, underweight, and full of worms. But that’s not their story anymore.

They’ve been loved, cared for, and socialized inside a women’s recovery home—surrounded by healing, second chances, and constant attention. Because of that, they are incredibly gentle, calm, and full of quiet affection.

Bambi (tan and white) is soft and nurturing.
Bo (with the black muzzle and eyes) is loyal, laid-back, and just wants to be near you.

They won’t get big, they love to cuddle, and they do amazing with kids and other dogs (not yet cat tested).

They are doing well with potty training (still learning), are working on basic commands, and are already crate trained—setting them up for a smooth transition into a home of their own.

They are up to date on vaccines and deworming, with spay/neuter pending.
