🎊First HairDo Day of 2026 was a success!!! We were able to serve 39 children!!!🎊

📣Thank you so very much to our volunteers Justin Crutcher(barber), Cicely Tyson (barber), Marci McReyonds(hair), and Tracee Dozier(hair) of Inside out salon. Thanks to your generous donations of your time and skills we were able to serve as many children as we did .

📣Thank you to Shay Smith and the Washington Hills Community Center for allowing us to occupy your space for this event and for providing hotdogs for the kids.

📣Thank you to all the parents for allowing us to do your children's hair and for your patience in waiting with your kids to be served.

📣And last but not least thank you to our Community Do's program coordinator Kirby (& mom, auntie, & granny) & TIB team! From sign ins, to blowouts, to serving, braiding, detangling, etc. we rocked that!

*Please bring preferred products and/or hair as supplies are limited.

🎉First Hairdo Day of 2026 is this month!

❣️We will be at the Washington Hills Community center the last Saturday of February on the 28th.
Free hairstyles and haircuts for kids ages 5-13. First come first serve. Preferred products and hair advised.

‼️Donations needed: Braiding hair (colors 1, 1b, 2,4 & fun colors) kid lengths. Hair beads (all colors and sizes)

👑Volunteers for stylists and barbers needed. If you can detangle, plait,braid,bead,cut, etc. we need your help even if it’s just an hour. Help us adjust the crowns of our young queens and kings.

🙏Thank you, thank you, thank you to Baptist Children’s Home, Inc. for your generous donation. And thank you to Wendy at Doing What We Can Homeless Outreach for recommending us. 🙏

Yesterday we recieved this wonderful donation of kids clothing and shoes to help stock our clothes closets and Elevation days. Time to sort and stock!

🎉Last Community Do’s HairDo Day of the year was a success! 🎉

We were able to serve 32 kids with hair styles or cuts.
This was all thanks to our volunteers Collins, Jackson, myssd_slay, Mesha Lashontanette Knott, Thomas and our barber sounique hilt. We want to thank these ladies for coming through and showing out!

Thank you to Smith and the Washington Hills Community Center for allowing us to use your space to give back to our communities.

Thank you TIB team members Lyn Kirby (community do’s coordinator), Lea’Tryicia Smith, & Quakiqi’ Lowe for all your hard work and commitment to Community Do’s success.

And last but not least thank you to all the parents for trusting us and allowing us to do you children’s hair. With out that trust these events wouldn’t be possible.

🎉Congratulations go out to our raffle winner Daniel Brock. He received his $500 winnings today and so graciously donated $100 of his winnings back to The In-Between. Thank you for your generosity Mr. Brock.
