ANNOUNCING A $25,000 MATCHING DONATION CHALLENGE TO SUPPORT OUR VISION FOR GROWTH AND EXPANSION IN 2026 AND BEYOND!

DWWCHO has experienced phenomenal growth in our mission to provide benevolence services to the homeless of Chattanooga over the past 3+ years. As a result, we have maximized the physical footprint of our Operations Center and need a much larger space.

A very generous donor has come forward and offered a donation of $25K towards a larger Operations Center, providing that we could raise an additional $25K through a donation matching campaign! This is your opportunity to get involved in helping us make a long-lasting positive difference in the local homeless community!

Please help us meet our goal! Double the impact of your gift by donating today during our donation challenge matching campaign. No gift is too small or insignificant! Please indicate that your donation is for our Matching Challenge Campaign.

1ST QUARTER 2026 WAS A VERY BUSY TIME AT THE DWWCHO OPERATIONS CENTER!!!

We were blessed to provide 1,069 service encounters to individuals in the homeless community during 1st Quarter 2026. This is a 117.27% increase over 1st Quarter 2025, during which we logged 492 service encounters.

We have been privileged to meet several new first-time homeless visitors as well as welcome many of our regulars back to the Center since the first of the year. All visitors received benevolence services tailored to their specific need(s), including but not limited to: meals, showers, clothing, toiletry and hygiene items, medical care, pet food, camp supplies, laundry and transportation assistance, Bibles and Bible study opportunities, and much, much more.

We would love for you to share in the positive impact we are making and the work we are doing to promote the love of Christ in our local homeless community. Please consider helping us by donating funds to help cover our ongoing expenses for overhead and program supplies. The need for your financial partnership is greater than ever as we endeavor to enlarge our facility footprint and grow our portfolio of services offered to our homeless neighbors during 2026.

DWWCHO is a community supported charity that is completely staffed by volunteers. We do not receive any government funds nor do we have a church or other organization bankrolling us. Instead, we rely on the public at-large to financially underwrite all of our expenses. DWWCHO is an IRS-approved nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. All contributions are much-needed and very appreciated!
