Team bonding: coaches' edition! 🥎🔥
The 2025–2026 season is officially in the books! Wildfire coaches from every single division finally stepped off the diamond and came together to celebrate. A massive thank you to Coach Scott and his wonderful wife, Brittany, for hosting an incredible end-of-season party. (And let's be honest, those smoked meats deserve a trophy of their own! 🍖🏆)

As coaches, we spend months obsessing over athlete development, celebrating clutch wins, analyzing tournament plans, and making memories. But this evening, it wasn’t about the game—it was about celebrating the incredible community we’ve built together.

We want to shine a massive spotlight on our retiring Wildfire Director, JP. For the past 5 years directing Wildfire, and 10 years on the CSA board, JP has been the backbone of this organization. He has survived the ultimate test of endurance: organizing chaotic schedules, managing field logistics, and spending endless hours under the sun (and in the dirt) ensuring our girls have everything they need to succeed. His deep knowledge of the game and dedication to these athletes is unmatched.

JP, you have given so much of your time, energy, and heart to make this organization a true success. We are incredibly grateful for your leadership. Thank you! While we will miss your direction on the field and in the boardroom, we truly hope you enjoy your well-deserved new view from the bleachers! 🥎 ❤️‍🔥

Congratulations to Charlton Post 391 for becoming American Legion Fast Pitch Softball Massachusetts State Champions last night! 👏

The team included 5 Wildfire Players and two former players who were part of CSA for 8 years!

Ending the season, Charlton Post 391 was 4th seed. Tuesday evening they defeated the
5th Seed - Franklin in the Qtr Finals, moving on to a victory in the Semis against the #1 Seed Sturbridge on Wednesday evening. Ultimately advancing them into the Championship game, taking the title against #2 Seed Webster -Dudley. 🏆 Congratulations Charlton Post 391, well done! 🥎

Our 18U Wildfire season has come to an end, with a winning record. 🔥
Congratulations to all these amazing young women. We wish you good luck in the future. This is the end of an era, but we will always be rooting for you all!❤️💛

A massive thanks to Coach Joel. Your dedication, patience, and belief in this team have shaped these girls both on and off the field. You didn't just teach them how to play the game; you taught them how to be resilient, how to support one another, and how to never give up. Your commitment to the Charlton Softball organization has made an incredible impact, to both the athletes and your fellow coaches. Thank you, Coach Joel.

To the parents, families, and fans: thank you for the endless cheers, the volunteer hours, and for being our loudest supporters.
As we witness this chapter close and look to the future, we know that the memories made on this field will last a lifetime.

This is it, Wildfire Family! 🔥 Tonight kicks off the beginning of the 18U Charlton Wildfire Summer Smash Invitational on Allen Field. This weekend is the very last home tournament on this diamond for some of our 18U girls. They've put in the work, made the memories, and now it's time to leave absolutely everything out there on the dirt. 🥎💪

Come out to the stands, bring the energy, bring the tissues, and let's make this last home tournament one to remember. ❤️‍🔥
