The Virginia Community Violence Coalition has a brand new website!

The Virginia Community Violence Coalition is a collaborative network amplifying community violence intervention (CVI) voices across Virginia, through information and resource sharing, training, and coordinated fundraising. Our members span the field—from small, local groups to large national organizations, including policy, healthcare, and frontline practitioners.

Our collective goal is to significantly reduce the number of shootings, stabbings, and other forms of assault in our cities over the next five years, and to make Virginia a national leader in comprehensively addressing community violence. We do this by gathering folks from across the Commonwealth to share best practice, support organizational development, and speak with a shared voice on priorities.

Talk about support!

As we prepare to celebrate 100 years of the historic Jefferson School, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible sponsors, partners, and supporters who have stepped up to help make this milestone celebration possible.

A heartfelt thank-you to Atlantic Union Bank, Ametra Labs, Colonial Webb, Bushman Dreyfus, The AV Company, Steppe Media, Skyline Tent Company, Bearing Insurance, and the Indie Short Film Festival for believing in the work of the Jefferson School Foundation and investing in this historic moment.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Reggie Wattz, Shawn and Letita Pendelton, Rebecca George Photography, Chef Greg Grough, the Jefferson School Foundation Task Force, Prolyfyck Run Crew, and Soul of Cville for sharing your time, talent, resources, and energy.

Your support goes far beyond this celebration. It helps us continue preserving Jefferson School, honoring its legacy, and ensuring that it remains a vibrant community resource for generations to come.

Thank you for your support and your continued willingness to stand with the Jefferson School Foundation. We could not do this work without you!
