May you find employment that doesn’t feel like work —
because it’s alignment.
Because it’s assignment.
Because it’s bigger than you.

Behind the scenes. After hours. Early mornings.
All to see the vision through.

Year one was the appetizer.
Next year, we’re serving the full course.

Our “A Different World” panel was inspired by one of our favorite shows but we’re taking it beyond the screen.

Instead of actors, we’re spotlighting real students whose lived experiences reflect the culture, community, and excellence we all loved watching growing up.

This conversation is about what HBCU life actually looks like today the challenges, the growth, the friendships, and the success stories.

Real stories. Real journeys. Real impact.

Why attend the HBCU College Fair?

Because there’s power in hearing the story directly from someone who lived it.

At this fair, students won’t just collect brochures — they’ll connect with:

✨ An HBCU alum who can speak firsthand about campus life, culture, support systems, and what it really feels like to walk through college as a Black student in affirming spaces.
✨ A local educator who understands our school system, our students, and how to bridge high school to higher education successfully.

Together, they’ll share:
• What makes HBCUs unique (community, legacy, mentorship, opportunity)
• How to prepare now for college — academically, emotionally, and financially
• Real-life experiences you don’t get from websites or rankings
• Practical guidance for students and caregivers navigating the college journey

For many families, this may be their first time hearing directly from someone who looks like them, comes from a similar community, and has successfully navigated the path. That matters.

This is about representation, access, and possibility.

Even if your student is unsure about college, unsure about HBCUs, or unsure about their future — just being in the room can plant a seed.

Sometimes one conversation changes everything.
