Registration is open for the second annual IMPACT Trauma Conference on August 29.

Get ready for a day packed with trauma education, hands-on learning and connection with regional EMS providers, ED nurses and clinical professionals. Attendees will dive into practical topics, sharpen their skills and bring new ideas back to their teams. Topics range from emergency imaging to spinal cord injuries and pediatric trauma care.

Congratulations to Captain S. Pylant on receiving the 2025 Outstanding Prehospital Provider Award by the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System (NVERS).

Captain Pylant has dedicated over 20 years of service to Stafford County and currently serves as one of our EMS Supervisors. Among other responsibilities, he helped build and currently serves on the county’s Tactical Medicine Team and serves as a mentor and educator to new and experienced providers in our department.
