Happy Earth Day from Our World! 🌱🌍💚 While we should treat everyday like it’s Earth Day, today can be a moment to slow down, reflect on the beauty and life our planet gives us, and allow that awe to impact our decisions.

Whether you walk or bike to work instead of drive, decide to not buy a coffee in a single-use plastic cup, eat a vegetarian diet, or spend some time educating yourself on the climate crisis, do a little something extra today to show your care for the Earth.

Together we can protect the Earth and ensure it’s a safe and sustainable place for generations to come. Let’s take care of Our World 🌍

Vitaliy has been a key team member since the very beginning of Our World. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine he’s had to safely relocate his family and move out of Kyiv. In spite of all of that, he’s continued to work while contributing to volunteer efforts in his home country. If you can, please consider supporting relief efforts in Ukraine. It takes all of us to take care of our world.

Happy International Women’s Day from Our World!!! While women are continually leading the way into a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future, let’s take a look at some inspiring female environmental activists of the past.

Today we took a moment to shed some light on Rachel Carson, one of the most impactful non-fiction writers of the 20the century. Her research in Silent Spring called attention to the severe harm synthetic pesticides have on our environment. At the time of publication of Silent Spring, the majority of farms used synthetic pesticides, but soon after, the use of synthetic pesticides was reduced and the EPA was established. Her work still impacts our environment movement today.

Throughout the rest of the month we will be featuring influential female environmental activists so be sure to follow for more great content this Women’s History Month!
