Withcraft

You might have heard the saying, 'An offended prophet is a pending witch.' I can assure you that this has its validity. The truth: An offended prophet is a witch. The LORD reminded me of this short but subtle phrase as I dealt with offense throughout the year. The truth of why the KPM had grown silent. Prophet, are you offended? There is no pending with God. You're either offended or you're not. Let me publicly repent for having been at the hands and feet of Jezebel, gaining insight, and garnishing her altars. Yet still, let me give glory to Adonai, Judge of the Earth, the Most High King, for showing me the witchcraft I chose to sit in over the year.

Prophet, are you offended? Witchcraft is near. I'll pose it to you how God said it to me, not too long ago, 'You're a witch! Repent!'

Saints, it's time to mature, soberly assess, and welcome the hard conversations with God. The mature will be rooted. The offended will become lovers of self, carried away by every wind of doctrine.

Prophet, you're a witch. Repent quickly. The Soon Coming King is coming quickly.

Tickled ears and offended hearts don't inherit the Kingdom of God. Neither do cowards.

Prophet, repent. There is no pending witchcraft in the Kingdom of God.

Proverbs 18:19 (AMPC) - 19 A brother offended is harder to be won over than a strong city, and [their] contentions separate them like the bars of a castle.

2 Timothy 3:2 (AMPC) - For people will be lovers of self and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (NIV) - There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

1 Peter 2:23 (NIV) - 23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV) - For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Ephesians 4:18 (KJV) - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.

Romans 1:21 (NIV) - 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Has Prayer Died?

Last week I encountered a Praying Mantis, a Carolina Mantis to be accurate. This friend was stationed right outside my front door, nearly trampled upon as I was leaving work. I was reminded of a post Jennifer Eivaz had said a few years ago, 'Intercessor, when a Praying Mantis is at your door, that means God is saying it's time to pray!'

Intrigued, I took a picture of my friend, thinking it was dead, then it slowly turned its head as if to say, 'You too!'

Only a few days later did the LORD tell me to go another way to enter my home, the same Praying Mantis I was reminded to pray by, had been trampled underfoot, dead on the step. I was grieved by my little friend. The next day, it was no more.

This is what the LORD told me, and I believe to share with you all:

1. It's time to PRAY! Just as our camouflaged Mantis friend, your intercession will keep you in disguise, hidden in the shadow of El Shaddai.

2. Have you been distracted, carried away by winds of doctrine, easily offended, anxious, repairing unnecessary things, inviting the familiar things back into your home? Stop and ask God to realign your focus. Where's your altar and where is His throne? Is the altar His throne or do two gods live quietly with one another? I can tell you, God does not live quietly among the idolatrous, He leaves.

3. Prayer warrior, where has your fire died out? Once bright, then a flicker, now a remnant of once was? Why have you stilled? Why is there no fruit, no progress? And when the LORD unctioned you to pray, perhaps through a gentle reminder such as the Praying Mantis, why did you not listen?

4. Has your mandate become something you gave yourself? Leaving God along the way? Trust God. We are here today and gone tomorrow, but with sword and shield, we can defeat the enemy. Will you be swept away like our friend? Or will you use the weapon He has given you.

The LORD is soon to return. It's time to PRAY!

James 4:7-10 - 7 So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. 9 Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Let your [foolish] laughter be turned to mourning and your [reckless] joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you [He will lift you up, He will give you purpose].

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (AMPC)
16 Be happy [in your faith] and rejoice and be glad-hearted continually (always); 17 Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]; 18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].

Luke 12:35-37 (NIV) - 35 “Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning, 36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. 37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

In the words of a sister, 'PICK UP THAT DUSTY BOOK!'

Abandoning Abuse or Abandoning God?

Being offended will have you to believe that you've abandoned your abuser, I.e. you've left them. Imagine, 'God, so and so hurt my feelings. I no longer want the relationship. Can you not see the pain they caused me?' Words that have fallen out of my mouth on many occasions. What if, this person was sound, abiding in the work of the LORD? I've learned that offense feels real, but often untrue. Perhaps, the words that stung were the truth.

Now, imagine the ones you've offended in pride, rebellion, sin, crying out on your behalf, 'Hold not this sin against them!' 'Expose the root cause!' I ask you today, have you abandoned abuse - the trauma that lies therein, the gunk, the infections, the pain? Have you sought wisdom on going through it, rather than around it? Have you sought counsel, and when the sting of truth comes, have you abandoned truth and have you abandoned God?

I often say to myself, 'Jesus is coming. Life is short. Hell is hot!' Are we truly preparing for the Soon Coming King? Are we abandoning wisdom, accusing soundness and calling it abuse? Are we still seeking a carnal reward? Title, fame, position? And when we acquire those things, 'Finally,' we say. How will we report to the LORD, when He says that we were carried away by every wind of doctrine?

Have you abandoned God, and sought the cry of 'Abuse!' as a crutch. And when you inevitably receive the title you desire, will it be worth the self-inflicted pain that is soon to come?

What do we say to our LORD when He asks, 'Why did you seek the title and not Me? Why did you cry out abuse? Why did you abandon My covenant? Why did you not truly abandon the abuse? Why did you not go through the process? Why did offense tell you to go around it?'

These questions have been posed to me, and I believe the LORD wants me to share them with you.

Have you abandoned abuse or have you abandoned the only true and living GOD?

I went on a hike yesterday, and anyone who knows me, knows that I love nature. What I thought was a 6 Mile loop, was actually a 5 Mile hike to the top.

Here's my conversation with the LORD.

Mile 3: Lord, I'm tired.
Mile 4.45: God, you can have it. I don't even care if I make it to the top.
Mile 4.57: I'm going to make it to the top (whilst the stairs resembled Jacob's Ladder🤣).

I thought about Moses, who had to prepare, and continually ascend Mt. Horeb, to encounter God and receive divine instruction. The consecration he must've gone through and ultimately the relief he felt when he could come before his father. Finally, I thought about his concern for his God, and the desperation he must've felt for a disobedient people. If he'd quit, he wouldn't receive the revelation for himself or the instructions for the people of God. His answer was 'yes.'

To the saints, keep climbing, you're almost at the top. To the faithful leaders, youve ascended, encountered God, received the instruction and removed the distraction. On your descent, when you return to camp, and have seen that the children have disobeyed, don't become distracted or discouraged. Instead, yet still, be encouraged that you have tasted and seen that the LORD is very, very good.

Finally, to the obedient, remain faithful. The Kingdom of Heaven needs your response.

[5] Now therefore, if you will in fact obey My voice and keep My covenant (agreement), then you shall be My own special possession and treasure from among all peoples [of the world], for all the earth is Mine; [6] and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation [set apart for My purpose].’ These are the words that you shall speak to the Israelites.” [7] So Moses called for the elders of the people, and told them all these words which the Lord commanded him.

What about Demas?

Now more than I ever I think about Demas, a student of Paul, a follower of Christ, who inadvertently was swept away with the cares of this world. I ask of God, 'Father, will I be like Demas? Will I turn away like Judas? Will I betray you?'

These are questions, I think, to ask yourself each day: Father, where have I offended you? Where have I betrayed you? How can I realign myself with you?

It is a renewing of the mind. Here's some scripture to meditate on:

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. – Colossians 3:1-4

Psalm 143:10 ESV
[10] Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!

Psalm 36:11 ESV
[11] Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
[11] May the foot of the proud not come against me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

2 Timothy 4:10 NIV
[10] for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.

So.. what about Demas? Father, keep us far from arrogance, a selfish boast, and a proud heart. Correct us, when we find ourselves slipping away, finding love with the present world. Let us not turn our hearts from you. Let us not be like Demas, deceived in this hour.

Demas had a short role, but a big impact.

Psalms 141:5 TPT
[5] When one of your godly ones corrects me or one of your faithful ones rebukes me, I will accept it like an honor I cannot refuse. It will be as healing medicine that I swallow without an offended heart. Even if they are mistaken, I will continue to pray.

Thought:

You need stability, emotional stability. While at the gym, I hadn't been there for awhile, I found myself unable to lift as heavy as I could, my muscles trembled, and felt myself unstabilized - arms and legs shifting due to a lack of training. I could've gone to the machines, that produced immediate stability, and allowed me to lift more weight, but I may have cheated myself of the endurance, of the awareness, and of the lesson.

Today, we must recognize our faults, soberly assess our weaknesses, and review our sins before the most Holy God. What has weakened me? Why am I unstable? Why do I sway so easily? Then, ask the Holy Spirit to build up your spiritual endurance - grit by grit, day by day. Exceeding what you thought you could have done, only to give God the glory. Ask Him to produce character, steadfastness, holiness, perseverance, all while relying on His strength.

You'll become sober, get stronger, and endure well. You need stability. Don't cheat yourself out of the process, only to receive man's reward.

Pray for your leaders. Lift their hands. They need stability, too.

Romans 5:3-5 (NLT) - "We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. [4] And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. [5] And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love."

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV) - "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."

2 Corinthians 12:10 (TPT) - "So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power."

Pray this: Father, stabilize me in every facet of my life; in my body, will, soul, emotions, and spirit. Expose and remove the snares, the familiar things that would cause me to return to an unstable place. Heal me, guide me, and allow me to do your will.

Thank God for stability. Thank God for stable leaders. Thank God for the people that help stabilize you.

It's time to heal. It's time to mature. It's time to stabilize.

May your favorite prophets, pastors, social media influencers be exposed in this very hour. Hear the Word of the LORD:

Psalms 115:5-8 TPT
[5-8] They idolize what they own and what they make with their hands, but their things can’t talk to them or answer their prayers. Their possessions will never satisfy. Their futile faith in dead idols and dead works can never bring life or meaning to their souls. Blind men can only create blind things. Those deaf to God can only make a deaf image. Dead men can only create dead idols. And everyone who trusts in these powerless, dead things will be just like what they worship—powerless and dead.

Blind men can only create blind idols. Blind men can only lead a blind people. Blind men can only create a false atmosphere of worship.

Ask the LORD, 'What am I blind to, today?' May our eyes be opened. As the earth groans for its Creator, may we be wise and discerning of the labor pains, may we hear the voice of the LORD Most High.

What are you blind to? Who and what am I worshipping? Who have you taken offense to, O Lord, that I still choose to love?

Will you choose to be blind in this hour? There is hope:
