Established in 1979, the Charlotte Disc Golf Club is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to growing and strengthening the sport of disc golf in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. We represent one of the largest disc golf communities in the world, with over 500 members and more than 15 club-managed courses.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your Charlotte Disc Golf Community Member of the Month, QUINN HILLER!!
Quinn Benjamin Hiller works hard to contribute to the events and spaces that build up our disc golf community. He was first introduced to disc golf in 2008 by his bandmates, which led him all the way here! Quinn started the Heist putting league in 2024 in partnership with Another Round Disc Golf, and has since taken over as his own project. The league is now supported by Los Tremendos Disc Golf and sponsored by Innova Disc Golf.

Runs every Wednesday from 4 pm to sunset. Participation is free, or pay in for a chance to win some cash!

Meet the Charlotte Disc Golf Club, Vice President, Ethan Durland!!
Ethan has been a part of the Charlotte disc golf community for many years. He played his first official round of disc golf at Reedy Creek in 2012 after 5 years of playing object golf. His love for the sport has pushed him to achieve great things. We are grateful to have Ethan Durland as a part of the CDGC board!

“During a period of my life when I felt most lost, the CDGC’s members were there to help me find my passion. For that, I'll forever be in debt and will always give any spare time towards trying to help others find their family away from home. NEVER LOSE YOUR DINOSAUR!”

Just in case you missed our Instagram post…
President Richard Tsui and Board Member Bobcat Buckley went to Jennings Park in Iredell County to help run the annual Iredell County Parks & Recreation Sports Jamboree on June 13th. They ran the disc golf clinic for kids ages 6 to 12! What better way to start your week than with an awesome recap of our CDGC board introducing disc golf to the next generation!

Recently, Brian Timm, Co-Course Director of Bailey Road Park, stepped down from his position, so we are honoring him as June’s Community Member of the Month!

Like many of us, Brian was introduced to disc golf by a co-worker and fell in love with the sport before his first round was over! Fun fact: he first became a Course Director (CD) at Nevin Nightmare before taking some time off, then reintroduced himself to the CD world at Bailey Road Park.
As Co-CDs, Brian Timm and Brian Miller did a lot for our beloved course. From bench and stair installation, fairway maintenance and trimming, infrastructure repairs, and drainage solutions, the team out at Bailey has kept it in pristine condition for many years. Most importantly, Brian’s contributions are a great example of what helps our community thrive! “Every little bit truly helps”

When Brian isn’t with his wife and four kids, you can usually find him playing the drums, strength training, and cheering on the Detroit Tigers with his friends!
