Athletes from Limitless Para Athletes were interviewed by Elvis Menayese for WFAE 90.7

Visually impaired people face challenges, especially getting around unfamiliar spaces and navigating obstacles such as stairs or walls. But in Charlotte, two visually impaired individuals are overcoming all those obstacles and more to climb to new heights with the support of a volunteer.

Last night's climbing session was a ton of fun! Eric joined Norman at Inner Peaks, where Norman had the opportunity to try climbing for the first time. They had a great time using the autobelays and bouldering. ​A big thanks to Faryadi and Micah for coming out to help call for us. Volunteers make such a big difference in people's lives! This past weekend, Limitless Para Athletes was honored to participate in the Step Out Walk, hosted by the American Diabetes Association. As the very first event where we had the opportunity to host a table and promote our mission, it was an incredible experience! We are very grateful to the volunteers who guided our athletes and to everyone we met for the warm welcome. We look forward to participating in future events!
