Ever had someone shake up a can, hand it to you, and it explodes when you open it?
It’s easy to blame the person who shook it.
But the real question is, was the issue the shaking, or what was already inside?
In leadership, pressure works the same way.
It could be our circumstances, our relationships, the challenges around us…
They don’t create what comes out of us. They reveal it.
A lot of leadership focuses on behavior, but real change doesn’t start there.
It starts at the heart.
Because the truth is, "the body always goes where the heart leads".
If we want to see real change in our organizations, our communities, and the people we serve, we have to ask:
Are we addressing behavior, or are we getting to the root?
