Thank you to all of our families for supporting the school store all year long!

Thanks to your support, the funds raised went right back into our classrooms! Our amazing TAs knew exactly where the needs were and how to best use the funds to support both our students and teachers.

Thank you to Mrs. Connell, Mrs. McLaurin, Mrs. Turman, and Mrs. Ryan for all of their hard work behind the scenes, carefully selecting fun items for the store, helping students at checkout, restocking shelves, and doing everything it takes to keep the school store running smoothly.

Your time, effort, and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for all you do!

Thank you so much to all of the teachers and staff for hosting such a truly uplifting Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast!

We were greeted with a beautiful hand-painted banner, gorgeous flowers in full bloom, whimsical artwork centerpieces, fun door prizes, goodie bag treats heartfelt thank-you notes, and a delightful spread of breakfast items and beverages that made the morning feel extra special.

We loved the fun skit from the fourth graders highlighting how volunteers help things blossom throughout the school community!

The second graders added even more joy with a lively musical performance using boomwhackers, and the Sustainable Energy students created a wonderful banner that helped the whole celebration flourish!

Thank you to Mrs. Marshall, Mrs. Johnson, and all of the teachers and staff who helped bring so much energy, creativity, and care to the event. Your kindness made everything feel bright, joyful, and full of love and appreciation!

Volunteering is something we do with heart because we love watching our school grow and thrive. Today reminded us just how appreciated that effort is!

To wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, PTO whisked everyone away to France!

Teachers and staff enjoyed a beautiful French-inspired flower bar, where they could create their own fresh bouquets to take home.

It was the perfect finishing touch to a week full of gratitude, celebration, and international flair. From Mexico and Italy, to England and France, we’ve loved celebrating our amazing educators who make WUES so special!

Merci, gracias, and grazie to our educators for being so amazing! Your dedication, heart, and impact make WUES an incredible place every single day.

Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered to make this week possible! Your generosity, time, and support helped create a truly special experience for our staff, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

A very big, heartfelt thank you to our staff appreciation chair, Kristin Breitbarth, planning such an unforgettable week while continuing to step in as a substitute in the classrooms. Your creativity, time, energy, and attention to every detail made this experience so special for our staff. Happy School Nurse Appreciation Day to our amazing Nurse Susan!

We were excited to celebrate her with a special lunch and a beautiful monstera plant as a small thank-you for the huge impact she makes at WUES each day.

We are so thankful for her compassion, care, and dedication to keeping our school healthy and safe. Her calm presence, quick thinking, and kind heart make a world of difference every single day. We’re so grateful for all that she does for our students, staff, and families!
