The LQ Foundation

The LQ Foundation The LQ Foundation was founded in memory of our mother Laquitta Marie Jenkins-Butler. She passed away April 16th 2017, leaving a legacy for us to carry on.

Laquitta was a woman that would give her last to help anyone in need. She didnโ€™t have much but if she didnโ€™t have it she would find someone that did. Laquitta was a single mother who lost her children because she was addicted to drugs, she managed to overcome her drug addiction and help others do the same with her faith and determination. She was a recipient of a lot of help, that is why when she

saw someone in need she tried her best to help because she knew how it felt to be in need. No matter s*x, race or religion she gave assistance where ever she could She showed Love to all, one of her Favorite saying was โ€œlove is what love doesโ€ . So as a foundation we intend to do our best to be a help to those in need.

Today we pause to celebrate and honor our mothers.

Single moms, Birthmoms, Stepmoms, Aunts, Grandmas, Godmoms, Cousins, neighbors and our village of women. You were presented with a challenge and you met it head on.

Continue to walk in your purpose. They hear you inspite of their actions. They may not say it today. But one day, not only will they tell you they will show you the best way they know how.

Today we pause to celebrate and honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

His voice still echoes. His courage still challenges us. His dream still calls us higher.

Dr. King didnโ€™t just speak about change. He lived it, sacrificed for it, and led with love when hate was easier. His legacy reminds us that justice is not passive, unity is not accidental, and progress requires action.

May we continue to walk in purpose, lead with compassion, and stand boldly for what is right even when it is uncomfortable.

Legacy lives when we choose to carry it forward.
