The world may know Zion Gibbs because of the tragedy that took his life, but I want the world to know him because of the beautiful life he LIVED. My book is being written in silence, and I WILL tell the story of what I’ve endured as his mommy. The grief, the pain, the fight for justice, and the strength it takes just to keep going. These past 2 years have been filled with things no mother should ever have to endure. Losing Zion, navigating grief, fighting for justice, trying to remain strong for the twins, continuing to work, and somehow finding the strength to pour love back into the community through Zion’s Legacy of Love. {BREATHE MYRA} 🧡

Grief has taught me that being strong doesn’t mean I don’t cry, I don’t hurt, or I don’t have days when the weight feels unbearable.
Strength is waking up and continuing to live when a piece of your heart is missing. It’s carrying love and pain in the same heart. It’s choosing to keep going, even on the days when I don’t know how.
I may bend. I may cry. I may have moments when I feel completely exhausted by grief. But God continues to give me strength for each day.
I’m still standing. Still loving. Still pushing. Still trusting God to carry me through what I could never carry alone. 🧡🙏🏾
My strength doesn’t mean the pain is gone. It means, by the grace of God, the pain hasn’t taken me out!
