Thank you, Gastonia Police Department, for working so hard to keep the streets clean for us!

Gastonia Police responded to suspected drug activity at a local apartment, highlighting how small crimes can impact neighborhoods—especially where children live and play.

Officers conducted an investigation that led to the discovery of a large amount of ma*****na products, 12k in cash, and several fi****ms. One individual was arrested and charged with PWISD Ma*****na, and Felony Possession of Ma*****na.

We know homelessness is an ongoing issue in America. But do you know the numbers? According to EndHomelessness.org homelessness increased 18 percent, from 653,104 people during the 2023 Point-in-Time (PIT) Count to 771,480 people during the 2024 PIT. That's an 18% increase year over year.

This leads us to wonder how we can help. GiveSafe makes it easy to donate money to a person and know that money can only be spent on food, toiletries or shelter.

Everyone has the capacity to turn it all around. It is not a simple path and you will need help along the way. This guy is a great example.

This is Eduardo, he has been homeless for about four years now. After a divorce on a marriage that lasted twenty years he started to drink excessively and one day he just walked out of his house and never went back. Eduardo says he had been in prison for fourteen years and that is when he found God. After leaving that past behind he decided to share his story and work on preaching homeless people here in San Diego; never imagining he would become homeless himself. Despite all that happening he still thanks God for sending him blessings. He says God works in mysterious ways and laughs, I think it was inspiring that he is still thankful despite having so many hardships. Always remember to stay grateful!!!!!! I am also very grateful for making it to the 10th month of doing this!

It is really sad to hear the stories of those in need. They really are just people and neighbors with just one mistake or tragedy that put them were they are.
