Why we Race 🩷

Hannah and Derrick found out that their son, Declan, had no heartbeat during what was supposed to be a routine 37-week scan. On August 10, 2024, they delivered their beautiful son—perfect in every way. They were blessed with 24 precious hours with him, and although his time on earth was short, his impact is lasting.

This fall, Hannah, Derrick, and their family will walk in honor and memory of Declan as part of Declan’s Dashers at the Out of the Ashes 5K & Remembrance Walk. Their team is also walking in honor of the countless families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and infertility.
