THEY WERE BEGGING FOR THEIR LIVES. NOW THEY’RE BEING OVERLOOKED….
All 5 of these dogs came to us from Animal Care & Control after multiple pleas for someone to save them. We said yes. We pulled them to safety. We promised them they wouldn’t die in a shelter.
But now that they’re safe…the interest has stopped.
Most of these dogs have been with our rescue for months with little to no interest. And that’s incredibly hard to understand when you know how close they came to losing their lives.
From our longest resident to our newest:
INDIE — A calm, affectionate girl who just wants to be near her people and soak up all the love. She’s easygoing, quiet, and discovering her playful side.
PUFF — A happy, loving boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. He’s learning every day, loves to play, and is always up for cuddles.
CHARLIE — A sweet, easygoing boy who enjoys walks, relaxing, and being with his people. He’s currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which his rescue is fully supporting.
ANUBIS — Playful, smart, and full of personality. He loves fetch, squeaky toys, belly rubs, car rides, and being your adventure buddy.
TRUDY — A smart, energetic girl who would love an active family. She’s a hiking buddy, running partner, toy enthusiast, and eager learner all in one.
These dogs were worth saving when their lives were on the line. They’re still worth choosing now.
And right now, shelters all around the Charlotte area are at maximum capacity. We want to keep saying YES when another dog desperately needs us, but we cannot save more dogs without fosters.

If you can’t adopt but can open your home temporarily, we desperately need fosters. Fostering is what allows us to keep pulling dogs from overcrowded shelters and giving them the second chance they were promised.
