💕 The Gigi Update 💕

G is doing great! 🥹💗

Her ears are still… goopy 🤢, but we aren’t allowed to clean them yet because they put some special antibiotic medication inside. So we’re all just trying not to look too closely at that situation. 😂

The pneumonia is finally on its way out, and hopefully she’ll finish her new antibiotic next week. Then she’ll head back for labs to make sure those white blood cells (her infection-fighting blood cells) aren’t still ridiculously high.

Her little body is still working hard, but she is healing. And, most importantly, our rotten little highness is BACK. 👑😂

Here she is post-bath, supervising her mama from her cozy blanket kingdom. Have we mentioned she has developed a serious spa addiction? 🛁💅

🚨 WE MAY HAVE A SITUATION. 🚨

It started out innocent enough… a little catnip. A few new toys. Nothing suspicious. 😇

But things may have gotten a little wild. 😂

Jack the orange guy and his handsome grey buddy Grimm are now accepting applications for a human willing to provide the supervision, entertainment, and occasional damage control these boys clearly require. 🧡🩶

They’re playful, silly, affectionate, and twice the fun when they’re together. Basically, your house is never going to be boring again.

So… who is willing to step forward and take responsibility for these two? 😹

My latest text update from PJ’s foster mama. She has began her steroid taper and is doing great so far! Our hope is that we can wean the steroid completely and maintain her on the prescription rabbit and pea food for a while to let her body recover fully.

All of our fosters are amazing but PJs case was particularly messy and exhausting. We are so grateful for the great care she has had and expect this girl to go on to have a great life.

Keep sending positive thoughts that she tolerates the steroid wean.
