⚠️🌻It’s that time of year!😘 Blossom Bag Project is in need of Sanitary Hygiene products for Title 1 schools and once we supply enough to those schools, we donate the rest to all schools accepting donations in Gaston and Mecklenburg Counties. ⚠️🌻

🌻I (Jamie Stocker) provide my services for free to the schools of these counties because there is a huge need for supplies. Most schools have a limited budget for sanitary hygiene supplies if any budget at all and rely on your donations. 🌻

🌻Please consider donating name brand or store brand Teen to maxi size Sanitary Hygiene pads, tampons, and panty liners today‼️We are also in need of girls size 12-16 and juniors size xs-xxl underwear and sweat pants/pants, leggings. 🌻

🌻Blossom Bag Project also provides the young ladies in these schools with options on how to receive free or low cost sanitary hygiene products while at home. We have an Amazon wishlist to help with this part of the project and would love it if you can share and react to this post to help with the algorithm! Thank you so much for your continued support the last 3 years, it has been amazing to see the community come together for our young women. 🌻

⚠️Blossom Bag Project is not classified as a non profit and will not be able to provide a tax write off receipt, we are still in need of assistance with streamlining this process and assistance with the cost to register as an incorporated non proft. If you can assist with this we would greatly appreciate it‼️⚠️

CTA! If you have volunteered time with blossom bag project, donated supplies, or received supplies from Blossom Bag Project would you care to leave us an honest review about your experience? We would appreciate hype, happy experiences, and even constructive criticism based off your experience! We want to grow and be able to donate more and we can’t do that without you! By having reviews (valid, verified reviews) it helps Blossom Bag Project gain credibility and that is super important in terms of receiving donations from the community, making donations to schools and growing! Thank you so much and we love you!

🌻Blossom Bag Project🌻 what is it?

🌻Blossom Bag Project🌻 was a vision that has come to life! We donate sanitary hygiene products inside ‘embarrassment free bags’ to the schools for the ladies when they “blossom” or have an unexpected visitor from Aunt Flo while at school. We have donated over 1000 bags so far since our inception in 2019 and we are going to continue that mission pandemic or not.

🌻Blossom bags🌻 go to title 1 schools first and then we donate the remaining bags to other schools in the area as we get donations in.

Now will you look at all those bags and donations? A special thank you to everyone who donated pads, liners, tampons, underwear and Ipsy/makeup bags, we appreciate all your donations!

However we still have a major need for donations (items only, we are not accepting monetary donations at this time). We have 91 Blossom bags and only half are filled! I went through all the donated pads (minus panty liners and tampons) and put 2 pads in each bag minus the ones on the left side, those are for the heavier days or 1st ever period.

We still need 200 bags and at least 10 packs of pads, 10 packs of assorted sizes of underwear and pants from our Amazon wishlist. If you have gently used pants ranging in sizes from 10/12 girls to plus size juniors we will happily take them off your hands!

⚠️Very important notice⚠️
🌻Blossom Bag Project🌻 is not registered as a Charity or Non-Profit because I (Jamie Stocker) have not been able to complete the process for multiple reasons:
1. Being the pandemic
2. I was told it would be upwards of $750 just for the non profit paper work by a business owner who “does this for a living” and that doesn’t include his fees, which we won’t be using him.
3. I cannot figure out how to finalize the information needed to get a tax Id or submit the paper work and the final amount needed. If you have experience with this please reach out to me directly via email at [email protected] or via Facebook messenger. We are NOT tax exempt until I finalize all of this. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Calling all Blossom Bag Project supporters! We need YOUR help!

Gaston County schools are now in session 4 days a week so this means we need donations! We are low on sanitary hygiene products, ipsy bags/makeup bags, new-girls sizes 8-xxl underwear and pants/sweats sizes xs-3x! We virtually have no items left except a couple dozen bags.

Therefore, the first 10 donors will be entered into a drawing to win one of the following: (there will be 3 winners!)

$25 Vanilla Visa Gift Card or E gift Card of your choice from a specific list.
$15 Restaurant E-Gift Card (from a specific list I will list in comments).
And a $15 Walmart/Target Gift card (your choice or an E gift card to ensure quick reception).
This giveaway is not sponsored by Facebook and is coming directly from myself. I will be sending prizes out same day as the announcement of the winners! The giveaway will occur once we hit 500 bag donations, 1000 sanitary hygiene product donations, 25 pairs of pants/15 bags of underwear donations. If we get 1000 sanitary hygiene product donations (which means if a pack has 100 in it and we get 10 packs) we will do the drawing then! Sanitary hygiene products are the most important!

Please show up and show out for these girls in our community, they need our help! I spoke with the new nurse at a Gaston County School and not only are the girls desperately in need of supplies AT the schools but quite a bit need informational packets and supplies at home. I will be curating the informational packets and raising funds to put in the Blossom Bag Project Cash App account for Walmart pickup and Amazon delivery of hygiene products for the girls who need them at home.

Donations can be made directly to me (Jamie Stocker) and if we get enough donations I can open up volunteer opportunists for Girl Scouts and those who would like to volunteer for projects! Covid-19 guidelines must be followed for these opportunities.

Considering Covid-19 is still a big part of our life at this point and a valid concern, I will also accept Lysol spray and wipes to ensure all donations are packaged safely. Random other donations we may need due to the pandemic are mini hand sanitizers to go in the bag or on the bag if they have key chain attachments, wet wipes for the bags (sample size) and sandwich size ziplock bags for solid underwear if a girl starts at school. Thank you so much and I look forward to serving the Gaston County and Mecklenburg county communities!

If you can’t donate, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHARE! Also posting on tiktok!

With public schools in Gaston County going back to school March 1, we NEED your help!

We need the following donations:
Pads (feminine hygiene)
Tampons
Ipsy Bags
Panty liners
Wet wipes (sample size would be awesome!)
Masks (surgical are fine)
Girls size 8 to size Xl panties
Second hand jeans, sweat pants, or other pants allowed in schools in case they have their period start and ruin their pants.

Please message me for where you can drop off or arrange pick up for these donated items.

Thank you again for supporting Blossom Bag Project, you are supporting our local schools and the girls in those schools! (Old picture but you get the idea! 😹)

I picked the perfect day to wear this outfit! The shirt says “don’t quit your day dream” and of course gotta have the bright floral pants. Also want to point out the irony and timing of this outfit. I hate WHITE graphic tees (bc I don’t like wearing undershirts or showing off my “man arms”, yeah spencer from rock climbing and HS, I never forgot the comment 🙄😂) but saw this one last nite and was like “oooooo yeah I needs it.” 😂

***extra side note: don’t bully!***

So why was today the perfect day to wear this outfit? Well I had no clue when I changed clothes 30 times and finally settled on this one, what was waiting for me in my office mail 🖤.

*As a lot of you know we changed our name from the Ipsy Bag Project to the Blossom Bag Project because of some legal gray areas and I honestly thing Blossom Bag Project fits it better. Just a little side note cus the card says Ipsy Bag Project*

Today we got a card from the school nurses of Gaston County Schools who received donations from the Blossom Bag Project to help provide supplies to fill the gap between their actual budgets for school supplies and lack thereof for sanitary hygiene products for the young women.

We donated well over 1000 bags last year, filled with sanitary hygiene products and we were also able to provide underwear. We also had individuals reach out who couldn’t afford to purchase products and we were able to amazon prime or Walmart pickup/delivery- order the ones these individuals needed.

I won’t quit my day dream of one day this being a national nonprofit, I won’t quite my day dream of this having even the smallest impact on someone’s day, or even life. I wont quite my day dream until I feel we have grown enough and helped enough that this issue, becomes a nonissue and schools have the mandatory funding for these crucial and necessary supplies. I won’t quit my day dream that women and young ladies can go to class without ANY interruptions to their schooling because of lack of funding and an overwhelming patriarchal rule that pulls them out of class for the smallest inconveniences (I.e. tank tops, shorts, having to call their parents for necessary feminine hygiene supplies bc the school has none bc the budget didn’t call for it....).

Sometimes I struggle with negative thoughts like: “Blossom Bag Project will not grow,” “I can’t run a non-profit ugh,” “how am I going to fund this” or “why did I think I could do this.” So to have a card in my office mail was surprising and an affirmation to not quit my day dream. To keep pushing. I am sad though that we need non-profits like this to supply schools with NECESSARY products but I am happy I am able to fill that gap for the time being with the support and help from our local community and even those across country!

I want to say thank you to everyone who has donated bags recently and in the past. Especially the out of state donors, those who have shown interest in starting this up where you are from, the local community and my friends 🖤. Y’all killed it with donations of Ipsy bags, small makeup bags, and feminine hygiene supplies.

I am hoping this year I can fund this project and the orders to women who cannot afford these products fully via non-profit (tax exempt/write off) donations thru the proper channels and of course probably my own extra funds again (because you are worth it 😘). I have well over 1000 bags and sanitary hygiene products filling up my front closet. Therefore if you need them, we will supply them Gaston County Schools, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, individuals who need them, Dove's Nest, and all other communities, schools, rehabs, etc just let me know 🖤🖤.

Thanks again 🖤 I couldn’t do this without any of y’all 😻.

**Long Statement ahead because I (Jamie) don’t know how to condense my posts... but the black community deserves so much more than another post from an organization. We have been taking action.**

As a lot of my personal friends may know, I have been protesting since May 29 and have not been able to make a formal statement, so here it is:

To the Strong, Enduring, Beautiful, Intelligent, World changing, Black Community of Charlotte: WE see you! WE hear you! WE appreciate you! WE love you! WE are FIGHTING for you! You may not know but we are walking arm in arm with you on the front lines, we are ensuring no one is getting picked up from the back of the March, we are on the sides making sure you are safe, we are standing in front of CMPD police officers starting uncomfortable conversations, protecting you from the “bad apples,” ensuring your safety at every turn. We love you and we don’t even know you.

I, Jamie have been with you in several instances where “riot” cops tried to destroy your persistence and drive with tear gas, flash grenades, and pepper bullets. I have taken a few of each because after almost 400 years of systematic oppression, still blatant racism, and unequal “equal” rights, it’s my duty as a white person to take this FOR YOU. Y’all have been thru so much, done so much, and you never👏🏻lose 👏🏻your 👏🏻voice👏🏻, persistence👏🏻, or hope👏🏻, and for that I thank you, but I also apologize to you. For so long the human race has denied racism, oppression and other obvious disparities, because they never experienced it. But not only as a hopeful non profit, but a group of decent human beings, we assure you we won’t turn our backs on you.

We will continue to fight along side you at as many protests as my body (Jamie) can handle and as many as we as a project can make it to. So far 7 out of 8 days we’ve been there. We’ve seen the injustices and we seen the police brutality. So if you see a random white Girl/boy Man/woman them/they, however they identify, standing in front of you to protect you, let them take the hits and speak your truth so all can hear. It’s not about the white people doing this, it’s about you getting to use your voice loud and clear for all to hear without experiencing anymore police brutality. We will protect you. 🖤

As a charity that donates pads, tampons, Ipsy bags, makeup bags (to hold the feminine hygiene products- or whatever the recipient chooses) to title 1 schools and all schools that request, we will continue to support you, your education, and will donate all of our supplies from this past semester to the George Floyd Protests medic teams to give out at all protests. If you are in need and are in Charlotte, please message me and I will bring them to you whether it’s at the protest or at a breakout meeting (Saturday at Freedom park). However, PLEASE tell US what we can do for you! This is about all the black lives that MATTER. We want to help how you need us to help.

We hear you
We see you
Your life matters to us
You are the most important group of people in this world to us right now
Let’s get you the justice and change you’ve so long deserved!

Love and Peace

Hello all my sweet followers, donors and friends! Due to COVID19 and the subsequent closure of schools we have a massive stock pile of donations I would like to donate to women in need. I need ideas of where to take these donations. Should I split them between shelters and recovery centers or do I donate to one place. Please comment with an organization you would like to see these bags and donations go to!

Thank you as always for your support and please feel free to check us out on Instagram!
