A'me in Action I love to volunteer & help others - so started A'me in Action to encompass EVERYTHING. I love it. The feeling I get from helping others is indescribable.

Building Hope, Celebrating Diversity: Empowering Communities through Philanthropy & Cultural Enrichment.

Started volunteering in middle school for the March of Dimes 5k walks and Breast Cancer Awareness 5k walks. As an adult started doing more - Adopt-a-Family events and continued to go from there. Helping children, feeding everyone and veterans tend to be the biggest focus. In an ef

fort to grow "my brand" of helping I started A'me in Action in 2024. The goal here is simple - help where I can and as much as I can and perhaps this will become my legacy - where I can leave funds to continue to give when I'm gone. It's starting to show up at local events - and if any event includes the sale of items sold under A'me in Action - all the funds will go back into covering costs OR supporting NPO's and making donations. I'm not out to make money. Looking to expand my reach of those I can help. Remember when you were asked what's your dream job? - mine would be to have unlimited funds to help others, charities, or be that person that could leave a life changing amount of a tip for someone and see them over come with joy. When you change someone's life - chances are high they will pay it forward and it will CONTINUE making the world a better place

TODAY (11.29) - UPDATED TIME & LOCATION --- starting at 1pm - Celebrate Small Business Saturday by supporting local and find me at Sidestreets Delicatessen (The Original) where I will have a KIDS CRAFT STATION to color/create a Viking Santa Claus! Take away a fidget/sticker upon completion of your project. Check out the Candy Cane Lane Lighted Holiday Parade & Annual Tree Lighting at 6pm. Please share and spread the word!!

Each year Michigan Nordic Fire Festival is happy to give back and make donations that help support our community partners - and in March MNFF selected Crosswalk Teen Center and presented Rick with the "big check" in the amount of $5000.00. Rick's been a supporter of the festival and helps us engrave a variety of things with our logos and themes - through Crosswalk. Always fun having 'big check' moments and seeing the smiles when we do so!
