Meet our Queen Contestant, Miss Girl! 👠💄
About: Miss Girl came from MCAC in Arizona, where she was found as a stray. I had been fostering with Arfanage Dog Rescue for six years, but she was the first dog I officially called my own. An elderly couple adopted her from the shelter but realized they couldn’t handle her, and that’s when she came to me. Funny enough, I had seen her a year earlier at the shelter but was going out of town at the time — it truly felt like fate that she found her way back to me.
Her name is Miss Girl (yes, that’s really her name; yes, I tried to change it; and no, she absolutely will not come to anything else). She’s full of sass and personality, ruling our house (and our bed) with confidence. She’s moved with me through every stage of my life, always by my side. She loves to be chased, adores cats, and never turns down kisses from people. Though she’s tolerated my many foster dogs over the years, she definitely prefers being the queen of the castle. Her favorite things include her “anxiety bones,” sticking her head out the window on highway drives, and giving dramatic sighs or disapproving looks when she wants to make her feelings known.
She’s taught me patience, loyalty, and how much love one little dog can bring into your life

Meet our King Contestant, 🎃 R***r Valentin! 🐬
About: I found R***r just after my mom & my Chiweenie passed away. It was love at first sight, he had to be mine! His DOB is 11/18/22, on this date I picked up my Mom for our last Thanksgiving together before she passed 11/29/22, this had to be a sign! My heart was in love with him before I ever met him! R***r has brought our family so much laughter, love & attitude. My mom would have been his #1 fan. Everyone treats him like a lil prince & he has the best personality & disposition. I love his freckles, the “pumpkins“ on his back & the way his little eyes seem to have the ability to look into your soul. I love how smart & witty he is, daring you to take something from him that he isn’t supposed to have or sitting by the door, whining to go out, then grabbing a sock off the floor & running out with it as soon as the door opens. There’s nothing like hard “dolphin noses” or “BOOPS” to my arms when I’m trying to work making the mouse fly & typing impossible. I love how much he loves our family, all of his snuggles & the way he doesn’t hear a thing until the cheese wrapper or treat bag opens…then he’s all ears! He doesn’t listen if he doesn’t want to until you ignore him & tell him goodbye…then uses his T Rex to catch up! This little guy is my whole heart!
