From grooming and getting ready, to climbing into the saddle and building confidence in the ring, every part of the adaptive riding experience has a purpose.
Going over poles and standing in the saddle helps riders work on balance, coordination, body awareness, and adapting to uneven terrain. Then, we take those skills beyond the arena and onto the trails, where riders experience new sights, sounds, and different terrain.
And of course, we have to end with the best part… Treats, love, and telling our horses just how much we appreciate them! 🥕💙

We’ve made more room for HOPE at Shining Hope Farms!

For quite some time, we had a vision for a new private counseling space at our Charlotte farm that would help us expand our mental health services and reach more individuals waiting for care. We found the perfect solution in a beautiful, natural wood garden studio from SolidBuild—but after multiple attempts to secure funding for the project, we weren’t sure how we were going to make it happen.

Then, SolidBuild did something incredible.

After hearing our story and learning how their garden studio could be transformed into a nature-integrated counseling space, they generously offered to donate it to Shining Hope Farms!

Our new “Hope Shed” is now assembled at the farm, and we absolutely love it. With its natural wood and large windows overlooking the farm environment, it is everything we envisioned for this special space. We’re working with an electrician on the final step of getting it electrified, and our team cannot wait to begin utilizing it with clients.

We are incredibly grateful to the entire SolidBuild team for believing in this project and helping us turn a long-held vision into a reality.

They didn’t just give us a shed. They gave us more room to serve, more room to heal, and more room for hope.
