In addition to driving less, you can make an even greater impact by donating your old car, regardless of its condition. As long as it has four inflated tires, we will tow it for free. When you donate a vehicle to Cars for Homes, it is assessed so it can be put to its best and highest use. Some vehicles—particularly those at the end of their life—are directed to licensed auto recyclers, who carefully and responsibly recover usable materials in ways that help protect our planet. For those vehicles that are recycled, up to 86% of their materials can be reclaimed, reused, or recovered, reducing waste and conserving natural resources. Union-Anson County Habitat for Humanity is now sharing information about the Urgent Repair Program (URP) for Anson County residents only.

The Urgent Repair Program helps homeowners address critical repairs that impact the safety and livability of their homes.

If you are interested in applying, applications can be picked up in person at the Habitat ReStore in Wadesboro.
