Carolina Voices was founded in 1953. Also now the home for the Carolina Beer Choir! Home to MainStage Choir, Festival Singers and Impromptu ensembles.

Known best for The Singing Christmas Tree, Carolina Voices has grown into a choral arts organization embracing 3 vocal ensembles: MainStage, Impromptu & Festival Singers. Volunteer community singers share their passion for song to bring five to seven performances to the stage each season. Interested in auditioning for a choir? Join us in welcoming Jennifer! Jennifer Ferreira is Music Director of The Singing Christmas Tree and Christmas Carolers for Carolina Voices, bringing over 25 years of professional performance experience as a soprano, conductor, and voice instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Greensboro College and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance & Literature from the Eastman School of Music, where she performed with the Eastman Opera Theatre. A liturgical soprano and section leader, Jennifer has performed for hundreds of Masses, weddings, funerals, and concerts throughout the Charlotte region. She is a dedicated voice instructor and mentor, and looks forward to fostering musical excellence and community through Carolina Voices.
