For the Christian, to turn away from the unborn baby girl or boy and their mother is to turn away from Christ. To fail to provide support spiritual, emotional and material to mother and child is to fail Jesus. To ignore the tragedy of abortion is to ignore God and to reject the most wonderful gift He gives, human life.

And I think of the staggering death toll from abortion, more than 63 million in the U.S. alone. A death sentence carried out against Christ, millions upon millions of times.

The Christian response to this tragedy should be one of choosing hope over despair, compassion over being cold hearted, caring over violence. Good over evil, love over hate, life over death and most importantly Jesus over Satan. The woman facing an unexpected or unwanted pregnancy is not to be condemned, but to be loved.

As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, it must also take a village to prevent a child from being aborted. That is why we must continue to work, through peaceful means, to re-establish a culture of life in our communities and in our nation.

God made some women barren BUT gave them the gift of a heart full of LOVE and a longing to be a MOTHER ...and some women He made fertile so they could give the gift of LIFE! Not just to a baby but to make the barren woman a MOTHER what a PRECIOUS gift.
Adoption is the LOVING option.💗🥰🤗
Today I pray for BOTH of these special women.
There is NO such thing as an unwanted child...there are women on their knees PRAYING for that child right now!🥰🙏

When I was told to abort my son and ask for forgiveness afterwards, I was in shock. This was the advice from my spiritual leaders from church. These were people who were supposed to be my support system. The ones I turned to for help and guidance. I knew right then that this baby had so much purpose. The enemy was using people close to me to steal, kill, and destroy an innocent life. I REFUSED! Thankfully, this woman and her husband was at my side when everyone else turned their backs and left me to figure it out. God figured it out and made a way. I don’t want them to take my babies.” Jasmine Reed came into the clinic alone. Her mom had passed, and her boyfriend, Tyler, left after hearing she was pregnant. She didn’t have anyone waiting for her. I’m Maria Collins, the nurse who checked her in that night. Thirty-seven, no family, no kids. My fiancé left when we learned I couldn’t have children. Since then, the hospital’s been my whole life. I helped Jasmine fill out her forms, brought her something to eat, and made sure she had a safe place to stay. I started checking on her after my shifts. When she went into labor early, I was there. Three tiny newborns — two girls and a boy. Jasmine stayed beside them all night, learning every beep and bottle. Two days later, the social worker said they’d be moved to separate care homes. Jasmine held my hand and whispered, “I don’t want them to take my babies.” The next morning, I told the caseworker, “Put my name down. They’ll stay with me.” ~ SHARE

Some ask "how do you do what you do without getting too attached?"
TRUTH is...YOU should all know, this is more than hard on me, all of it. I feel every moment deeply from the day I say ‘yes’ until the day we say ‘goodbye’ and beyond.

Every appointment, every 2 AM feeding or as I am up with a sick child and as I’m looking into their eyes, I know they may NEVER even remember the slightest thought of me while I will NEVER forget them.

I’m not super human, I’m NOT amazing or wonderful. I worry, stress, grieve & cry. After years of this I still am NOT used to the letting GO or saying goodbye.

What I AM though, is dedicated to the CALLING and PURPOSE God has created ME for also to supporting families heal. I’m willing to expand my comfort zone and honestly, I’ve intentionally CHOSEN to lose a little piece of MY heart SO that maybe, just maybe, it would HELP mend theirs. ALL of this is a choice for me. Not an EASY one and definitely not a safe and comfortable one; but I KNOW by choosing to say ‘YES’ we can ultimately help change the course of a mom,child’s life, a family’s life—and that’s something I AM willing to do over & over & OVER again for my Heavenly Father even though I KNOW I will ALWAYS get “too attached”.

He NEVER said it would be easy BUT that it would be so worth it. I give Him ALL GLORY, HONOR and PRAISE. Amen.
