For a NICU family, the smallest gestures can bring comfort on some of their hardest days. A soft blanket can become part of those precious moments—wrapped around a tiny baby, held by a worried parent, and carried home as a reminder that their community cares.
This NICU Awareness Month, help Bee Mighty wrap local NICU families in a little extra love. 💛

The Hornets have been our presenting sponsor since the very beginning of the Bee Something for Bee Mighty Gala, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support of our mission and the families we serve.
Our partnership with the Hornets goes beyond the gala. Through Hugo’s Little Hero, a program made possible in partnership with the Charlotte Hornets and Coca-Cola Consolidated, children who have overcome challenges associated with their NICU journey get to attend a Hornets game and be recognized for their incredible resilience. 🐝💛

Want to get involved with Bee Mighty? We’d love to meet you! 🐝
September is NICU Awareness Month, and we’re celebrating with a couple of opportunities to drop by, say hello, and learn more about volunteering with Bee Mighty.
No formal commitment. No long meeting. Just stop in when you can! 💛
You can meet members of our team, learn more about the ways volunteers support local NICU families, and find an opportunity that feels like the right fit for you.
🧺 Have blankets to donate? Bring those along, too! We’ll be collecting blankets to help bring comfort and warmth to babies and families in local NICUs.

💛 September is NICU Awareness Month, and we’re taking the month to recognize the babies, parents, families, nurses, doctors, and communities who are part of the NICU journey.
🐝 At Bee Mighty, we’re here to support local families before, during, and after a NICU stay—because every baby deserves a mighty beginning, and every family deserves support along the way.
Throughout September, we’ll be sharing ways to learn, support, and show up for NICU families in our community.
Because even the tiniest beginnings can be mighty. 💛

We asked our Gala Committee Chairs to share what they are most excited for at this year’s Gala:

I’m really excited to see it all come together. We’ve put so much thought into making the night beautiful and fun, and I can’t wait to see everyone walk in and feel that energy. But mostly, I’m excited to have a room full of people who really care about Bee Mighty and are there to support NICU families. It’s going to be so special to see everyone come together and hopefully make a really big impact. - Jillian Butler
