Today’s art class was a full house, and the creativity was flowing from the moment we got started!

Every child brought their own ideas, imagination, and personality to their artwork. There were no two projects exactly alike, and that’s what made today so special. We love creating a space where young people can express themselves, build confidence, and discover that there is no limit to what they can create. 🎨✨

♟️ Chess Day at OPERATION:EDUCATION!

Every move is a chance to learn.

During yesterday’s chess lesson, our students practiced thinking ahead, solving problems, and making thoughtful decisions. Chess teaches much more than the game, it builds patience, focus, confidence, and critical thinking skills that help both in school and in everyday life.

One move at a time, we’re helping develop tomorrow’s leaders.

🎨 Creativity was on full display at OPERATION:EDUCATION!

Our students had a wonderful time exploring their creativity during art class, using their imagination to create unique works of art while building confidence, patience, and critical thinking skills. Every project reminds us that creativity is a powerful tool for learning and personal growth.

At OPERATION:EDUCATION, we’re committed to preparing the next generation through Art • Chess • Global Leadership • Literacy, giving young people opportunities to learn, grow, and discover their potential, one lesson at a time.

OPERATION:EDUCATION Global Learning Bridge is a cultural enrichment and character development program designed for youth ages 8–18. Through engaging, hands-on learning experiences, students develop confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills while exploring art, chess, global leadership, literacy, and cultural education.

We partner with homeschool groups, private schools, churches, after-school programs, and community organizations, bringing our program directly to your location on a weekly basis. Each lesson builds upon the previous one, allowing students to grow academically, socially, and personally throughout the program.

At the end of each learning cycle, participants showcase what they’ve learned through creative presentations such as artwork, poetry, writing, speeches, chess demonstrations, performances, and other student-led projects.

There is power in learning together.

This week in OPERATION:EDUCATION Chess, our focus was “Work Together, The Power of Unity.” Today’s lesson was extra special as Mr. Shawn sat down for a one-on-one game with one of our students, demonstrating that some of the greatest lessons happen when we learn side by side.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9

Chess teaches more than strategy, it teaches patience, mentorship, respect, and the value of working together. Every move is an opportunity to grow.

OPERATION:EDUCATION. Week 10: Stay Out of Check ♟️

This week’s lesson reminds our students that wisdom isn’t just about making the right move…it’s about recognizing danger before it becomes a problem.

“A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; the simple pass on and are punished.” Proverbs 27:12

In chess, just like in life, the best move is often avoiding unnecessary risk. We’re teaching our youth to think ahead, make wise decisions, and protect their future, one move at a time.

🎨 Creativity is Education Too.

Today our young scholars spent time in art class, learning that every masterpiece begins with a single line.

At OPERATION:EDUCATION, we believe education extends beyond textbooks. Art teaches patience, observation, confidence, problem-solving, and the courage to express ideas in ways words sometimes cannot.

Every painting, sketch, and creative project is another step toward helping young people discover who they are and what they can contribute to the world.

We’re proud of these young artists and can’t wait to see how their talents continue to grow. 💙

📚 Week 9: Count the Cost

This week in our chess and life skills lesson, we discussed the importance of thinking ahead before making decisions.

Just like in chess, every move has consequences. Before we act, it’s important to consider our goals, our resources, and the potential outcomes of our choices.
