The daylight is shorter but our volunteers still show up!! And the numbers we serve are growing!! We are so thankful for all the blessings we can give to our street friends! From warm clothes, blankets and wonderful food- they know they are loved!

It is always a busy time for us as we serve our street friends! We celebrated Johnny’s 70th with a few treats, had new volunteers join us and a group of amazing students and moms helped in our warehouse! God is showering this ministry with His blessings!!

The hot and humid days don't seem to bother our volunteers! We have been blessed to have several groups, families and individuals join us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at our Charlotte location. We are serving more street friends each week which has caused our donations to be used up quickly! Please look at our website www.ricenbeans.org for our list of items needed.

So thankful for all the amazing people who have came to serve no matter how hot the temps are!! At our service locations or in the warehouse we had groups come to help be the hands and feet of Jesus for our homeless friends.

The temps are heating up but that doesn't stop our volunteers from showing up! We have been very busy at all our locations with more people dealing with homelessness in the area. This week we gave away bikes in Charlotte and that was a big hit. Lots of smiles as our friends pedaled away.
We are always in need of donations. This time of year we could use Men and Women's shorts and T-shirts, sunscreen, bug spray, baseball caps, flip-flops and travel size shampoo, soap, toothpaste. You can go to our website www.ricenbeans.org for our complete list and to sign up to serve.
