***A Belated Thank You for a Meaningful Winter Fundraiser ***

Although our fundraiser concluded in February, we wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank everyone who helped make it such a success.

This past winter, the Bengali Women’s Forum partnered with the Community Shelter of Union County to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, we were able to contribute toward providing food, warm clothing, and essential support to those in need.

A special thank you to our youth volunteers, Swastik Basu and Soumyosundar Dutta, who dedicated their time and energy to raising awareness and inspiring others to give. Your passion, leadership, and commitment to service made us incredibly proud.

While this thank you comes a little later than planned, our gratitude is no less heartfelt. Every donation, every shared message, and every word of encouragement helped make this initiative impactful.

Greetings, all! The Bengali Women’s Forum is doing a fundraiser for the *Community Shelter of Union County* ( https://unionshelter.org/), an organization that believes “safe, affordable housing and access to food are basic human rights.”

As temperatures drop, your small act of kindness can help provide food, warm clothes, and comfort to those who have none. Their work in emergency shelter, food distribution, and rehousing efforts is aimed at making episodes of homelessness and food insecurity brief.

Every contribution counts because compassion is the truest form of giving.
