"we serve as the lead forensic nurses for Novant Health in the Greater Charlotte Market. As of January 1, 2025, we are proud to have established a fully staffed, full-time forensic nursing team that responds to all sexual assault, non-fatal strangulation, and, soon, human trafficking cases presenting to any of our Emergency Departments.

We have dedicated significant effort to building this specialized team to ensure that every survivor receives the compassionate and expert care they deserve. Since these enhancements, we have experienced a substantial increase in the number of patients we serve.

In 2023, we were deeply grateful to receive your generous donation of the blue drawstring care kits for our sexual assault survivors. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail in each kit have made a meaningful impact, and even now, I am continually impressed by the care you put into supporting survivors through these challenging experiences.

As we are now using the last of the kits you kindly provided, we would like to inquire about the possibility of receiving additional care kits to support our patients. Additionally, we would appreciate the opportunity to schedule a meeting with you to explore other resources for survivors and discuss potential ways our team might collaborate to support your efforts.

1-Year Commitment | Make an Impact | Join the Sisterhood

The Sisterhood Against Sexual Assault (SASA) is seeking a dedicated and trustworthy individual to serve as our Treasurer for a 1-year term.

This isn’t just a position — it’s a purpose.

As Treasurer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our nonprofit can continue providing support, resources, and hope to survivors of sexual assault. You’ll help us grow responsibly, manage donations with care, and support events that change lives.

We have an accountant and advisor that helps with this position.

💼 Role Includes:

Maintaining financial records and reports

Managing SASA’s budget and bank account

Tracking donations, sponsorships, and grants

Supporting fundraising and community events

Attending board meetings (virtual & in-person)

🧡 We're Looking for Someone Who:

Believes in SASA’s mission

Is organized, responsible, and detail-oriented

Can commit to approximately 2-4 hours/month

Has experience with budgeting or bookkeeping (a plus!)
