During the Civil War, in the battle of Mobile Bay on August 5, 1864, after one of the ships under his command was hit and sunk by a mine, (called torpedoes at the time) Rear Admiral David G. Farragut gave the now famous command "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!" to the remainder of his fleet.

The Chief wants to see us again, Damn the Covid, full speed ahead! It's time for a reunion.
