BUCHANAN (JUNE 13,2026)โ€“ Hannah, a young girl whose story touched many people, now has a new reason to smile. Liberian humanitarian Saya Doe Sio has offered her a full scholarship and expressed interest in adopting her.

The support came after Hannahโ€™s situation was shared publicly by Ne-Suah Beyan-Livingstone. Moved by the story, Saya Doe Sio said she and her husband, Francis K. Sio, will cover Hannahโ€™s education from ABC through 12th grade at ATDOE Academy in Lower Buchanan.

The scholarship will pay for tuition, uniforms, and learning materials, beginning next school year.

In addition to supporting her education, Saya Doe Sio said she would also like to adopt Hannah to ensure she receives proper care and guidance as she grows.

โ€œThis is a blessing that we can help,โ€ Saya Doe Sio said while thanking those who helped bring attention to Hannahโ€™s story.

On Tuesday, JUNE 2nd, 2026, The Annie T. Doe Memorial Foundation medical team led by Patience Tejan and County Coordinator, Eric Peters, donated a large supply of medical materials to the Liberia Government Hospital in Buchanan to help improve healthcare services in the county.

In his presentation, Mr. Peters reiterated that support is part of the Foundationโ€™s ongoing efforts to strengthen health services and assist hospitals in delivering better care to patients and help with urgent supply needs.

The ATDOE Foundation recently constructed a Community Health Clinic to serve about 20,000 residents in Buchanan; and these medical supplies were provided through the Foundationโ€™s international donors, who continue to support its humanitarian work in Liberia.

Receiving the items, the Officer-in-Charge of the hospital, Madam Nehwon Lankah, thanked the Foundation for the donation. She said the supplies will help improve services and support patients at the facility.

Madam Lankah also assured that the materials will be used properly and strictly for their intended medical purposes.

The donation is expected to ease some of the hospitalโ€™s challenges and improve healthcare delivery for residents of Buchanan and nearby communities.
