I would like to share a little bit of information about me and the reason why I have created Today’s Single Mom SuperWoman. I am a divorced mother of 2 BEAUTIFUL daughters ages 21 and 17. I have been an entrepreneur for 20 years, I am a member of several organizations and I have my own non-profit organization called The W.E. Organization, Inc. Being a mother is VERY REWARDING and it’s the BEST par
t of my life! However, being a single mom is also VERY CHALLENGING at times as well! I TRULY understand the struggles and challenges of trying to balance work, kids, being active in the community and doing it all by myself! Therefore, the purpose of Today’s Single Mom SuperWoman is to recognize, inspire, empower, encourage and support all the other Single Mom’s who are doing the same thing! So, are you or do you know a phenomenal single mom that you feel is doing an OUTSTANDING JOB balancing being a single mom? Juggling work/going to school, homework with the kids, cooking, cleaning, afterschool and weekend extra curricular activites, while also finding time to volunteer and give back to the community? Does she have a story that demonstrates how she has overcome major obstacles and challenges? If so, Nominate her or yourself to be……………………………. Today’s Single Mom SuperWoman of the month! Each month 1 hardworking, deserving Single Mom will be recognized and awarded a $200 gift bag! Criteria:
1. Must be employed
2. Must live alone (no boyfriend, fiancée, companion or family member living in the home)
3. Child/children must live in the home and not over 18yrs of age (unless still in high school)
4. Must live in Mecklenburg, Gaston or Union county
