Heartfelt Thanks for Attending the Women's Empowerment Screening of "The Color Purple"
Dear Beloved Community,
On behalf of Dream Beyond Fear Inc. and its founders, Keisha Suggs and Tracey Suggs, we extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who attended our free Women's Empowerment Screening of "The Color Purple." We also send a huge thank you to our wonderful board member Monty Migette and host of others who helped to make this happen.
Thank you to our phenomenal guest speaker Katrina Clark who lifted us all up with her powerful words of encouragement and strength. She beautifully wrapped up the theme of the movie event in timely scripture.
Everyone’s presence at this event contributed to creating a space of healing, empowerment, and sisterhood – values that are at the core of our mission. It was truly a special occasion, and we hope that the experience resonated with you as much as it did with us.
The purpose of the event was to foster healing, empowerment, and sisterhood, with the ultimate goal of enriching the quality of all our relationships. We believe that by coming together, supporting one another, and sharing stories of strength, we can create a community that uplifts and empowers each individual.
We sincerely hope that both men and women who attended left the theater feeling inspired to be more and to love more. "I Am Here" echoes not just as a statement but as a powerful affirmation of our collective commitment to self-discovery, growth, and supporting one another on this journey.
Once again, thank you for being part of this empowering event. Your presence made it truly special, and we look forward to continuing this journey of empowerment and sisterhood together.
We would like to give a special thank you to First Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, the leaders at Greater Enrichment Program, and Girl Magic for attending. These phenomenal organizations are providing great services to the Charlotte community.
With gratitude and love,
Keisha Suggs and Tracey Suggs
