Dear friends, local and wide. I would like to take a moment to remind you of a very special live worship event taking place tomorrow at Project 658 in Charlotte organized and produced by my new friends at https://www.communitykitchenclt.org/. I've come to know the leaders of this group and they are just wonderful people serving a broad range of diverse communities with a wide variety of educational and outreach programs. Tomorrow we will begin with prayer around 4pm and the worship music starts about 5. There are many different cultures and musical styles represented throughout the program. Last I heard we're having worship songs sung in 8 different languages. Amazing! I am so thrilled, humbled and honored to have been asked to represent our English-speaking culture with a live worship set and my testimony delivered at 6:30pm. God has blessed me with the opportunity to play with some new musical friends of mine. Please come and join us as we play for the first time together select songs that weave into my testimony story of how God transformed my life through my battle with cancer and beyond. I'm truly amazed how he is working and I'm very much looking forward to the event. Also, I'll be providing video services and will be streaming the event as a service project of Scion Media(hopefully) if our tech in the center is agreeable.

This is SO Exciting!!!! We are conducting our first-ever hybrid LIVE/VIRTUAL episode of DigitalEdgeTV! Join This Exciting Hybrid Career Exploration TV Show in person here in Charlotte or join us via Zoom! This will be a quick introduction to careers in streaming media, and a look at opportunities for students just starting to explore these pathways available through our nonprofit Scion Media. It's going to be epic! We have special guest professionals lined up to come into the virtual studio as I broadcast the show in real-time right in the room with the kids and families that join us in person! Honored to have filmed a great interview with DreamKey Partners' President Julie Porter for a few Scion Media service projects. We are serving She Built This City next week providing comprehensive media production services at three of their events and this interview will be a short feature. DreamKey is doing incredible work building affordable housing for the people of Charlotte and supporting these efforts with educational programs preparing people for home ownership. I am honored to be able to put this piece together in service to our partners and grateful to God for the doors he continues to open.

Charlotte Friends: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Scion Media needs you to help us help those helping our communities! That's a mouthful, but it's true! We have a lot of service projects coming up and are in need of help. Scion is providing on-location livestreamg and video production services for several special events held by nonprofit groups over the coming weeks. In support of these groups, and in pursuit of our mission, we will be onhand helping these groups advance their digital media endeavors and also providing real-world learning opportunities for people wanting to explore careers in the digital media arts. Some A/V experience would be great but not required. We can also use help with setup, teardown, and manning our info table. If you have a heart for helping people and find the world of livestreaming interesting, we need you! Maybe you can help manage flow at our live podcast station!
