💜 Thank you again to all of our families who shared their child's story for last month's awareness campaign, Navigating the Journey After Pediatric Stroke! 💜

If you'd like to thumb through the stories and revisit our campaign, we've placed all submissions into this photo album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1325615893041002&type=3

The International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke honored all children and families impacted by pediatric stroke for Stroke Awareness Month in May 2026. This year's theme was "Navigating the Journey After Pediatric Stroke", celebrating how each of the warriors in our community adjusted to life after their diagnosis. We invited families to submit photos of their children with a note that reflects about their personal experience. This album captures each of the responses shared in May 2026.

Now 15, she continues her stroke recovery and advocates for herself and others with disabilities, including publishing an illustrated book about living with Aphasia as well as advocating for accessible spaces in Massachusetts.

You can read more of Marina's story at the link below.
