If you werenāt there last night, you missed an unbelievable evening, presented by the Mooresville, NC Lions Club. This amazingly talented musician is still in high school. I grew up on Bluegrass and this is some of the best Iāve heard.
We also had an intimate evening with Nashville recording artist, Trey Taylor. Everybody in the house was enthralled by his story telling and 12-string virtuoso pickinā. He and Ettore were both kind enough to come out and meet the concert guests and I donāt think Iāve ever met 2 more gracious performers. They signed autographs, posed for photos, told stories and made it a point to speak personally to everyone at the after-concert reception. Best of all, theyāre committed to bring back some of the old, old, classics in Mountain Music, Bluegrass, and Country and Western (as we used to call it.) If you ever get a chance to see either one of them, donāt question it. Just go!
Big shout out to the concert committee Theresa Knight, Sharon Weddington,Durden Dean,Robert Brawley with great support from the general membership of the Club. And special thanks to the young lady who supported us with social media outreach, and taught us a few things about the power and reach of the Internet. I am not mentioning her name because I forgot to ask her permission but some of āher peopleā are on this thread and I hope they will pass along my sincere gratitude.
Many people had to learn new things and get way outside their comfort zone to make this concert happen. Iām proud of everyone for stepping up and doing scary things to learn how to present an event of this magnitude.
Thank you to Trey Taylor Music and Ettore Buzzini for your professionalism, talent, and kindness. ā¤ļø
