Every service dog has to start somewhere.

These Operation Sidekick pups are candidates for service dog training, with the goal of one day supporting a veteran with PTSD. Not every pup makes it through, but every one of them needs months of training, care, and attention to find out.
Right now we’re looking for Puppy Raisers, Puppy Socializers, and anyone who can give toward their training.

If you’ve ever wanted to make a difference for a veteran, this is a great place to start. Learn more at https://apbf.dog/programs/os or email [email protected].

Just a gentle Adopt-a-Dog Month reminder that the best trail buddy in town still doesn’t have a home. 🥾

This 2-year-old pittie is built for crisp mornings, leaf-covered trails, and whatever adventure you have planned next. He gets along great with large dogs and older kids, and he’s looking for the family that gets to call him theirs.

Before you judge the label, meet the dog.

Pit bull-type dogs are some of the most misunderstood dogs out there. This month, we’re sharing the facts, the stories, and the people working to make sure every dog is judged as an individual. Swipe through, then share with someone who could use a second look.

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so why not start the day with us? Grab your friends, family and pups and make the RescueMe 5K part of your Halloween plans. 🎃🐾

Run it. Walk it. Dress up. Don’t dress up. Just come have fun and help us support pit bull type dogs while you’re at it. 💚

Frankie, however, would like it noted that she did not choose the lion costume.

Professional lap warmer, available now. 💚

Now that the temps are finally dropping, you’re going to want a warm blanket that snores. This 2-year-old pittie is still waiting on a family of his own. He’ll hit the trails with you all day, then settle in for evenings exactly like this one. He’s good with large dogs and older kids, and he’s ready whenever you are.

Matty is available through our friends at Elsa's Pride, Inc.. Meet him here: tinyurl.com/adoptmatty
