It's not often an organization gets to acknowledge 25 Years of service, but this summer we get to honor and celebrate an extraordinary human and an exceptional leader in Celena Ditz. Celena has filled many roles but currently serves as our Director of Programs and Services. Additionally she oversees our ongoing regulatory compliance and accreditation efforts, is an accreditation site reviewer, is an active mental health clinician, and is involved at the State level in development and deployment of comprehensive trauma assessments for youth interacting with Child Welfare in North Carolina. And there's so much more, so to say she is amazing is simply an understatement and we are beyond grateful that she is on our team. Thank you for 25 years of exceptional service!

On this Good Friday we want to express our gratitude to all of the sponsors, donors, golfers, and volunteers who helped make this year's Charity Golf Tournament a success and our best ever. Until next year "May your swing be straight and the ball fly far, may your round be blessed with no worse than par, and may the leprechauns hide extra balls in the rough just for you!"

Are you sick of winter yet? We are, and since Spring is only 7 weeks away, it's time to start thinking about your golf swing and planning to be part of our annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Riverbend YMCA Golf Course on March 26th.

In light of the icy and unsafe roadways, we have made the decision to close our offices on Monday, January 26th. This measure is taken to ensure the safety of both our clients and employees. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time, and we encourage everyone to stay off the roads while the mess is being cleaned up. Thank you for your continued support.

As we look ahead to 2026 we wanted to take a moment to just say THANK YOU to everyone who supported our work in 2025. Because of your support, trauma victims are getting the counseling they need to move on in life; struggling couples are getting the tools they need to succeed; victim children and youth are being nurtured and validated while we provide them with shelter, meals, and all they need to complete their education and thrive in life; young adults aging out of foster care are being equipped with the life skills needed to navigate independence without becoming dependent on welfare programs. Your support has been a down payment on the future and outcomes for each boy, girl, teen, and adult our programs serve.

If you need help finding your way forward in the year ahead please let us help. Our counselors are ready to help you overcome the obstacles that keep you from being your best self. Together we can make 2026 a year of New Thinking, Intentions, Actions, and Habits that can lead to a happier life. Find out more today by emailing [email protected] or calling 704-484-2558 and leaving a message for our team.

Happy New Year!!
