Last week in our Capoeira Community class series…we moved, we laughed, and we learned. Capoeira is a unique art form created by enslaved peoples from Africa and Brazil as a form of resistance, cultural preservation, and protection. This art combines many elements including music, dance, acrobatics, and martial arts. This art is now practiced all over the world by many different backgrounds and ethnicities.
