Homeschool 5-10's making American Colonial redware plates from terracotta , decorating with yellow colored slip just like they did 250 years ago. Thanks inc for organising.

Americas 250th is a great thing to celebrate with art! Ms Cindy did a great job showing the class how to paint a barn quilt- American style! Thanks Darlene for helping make this class happen!

"Within the Whale" event is getting better! The library will also have something fun planned in the gym for the kids and Monson Scoops is working on a treat you can buy while in town with a whale theme! It'll be a "whale of a time" in Monson! 😉 ❤️ 🐳

Summer goal for the kids program is a nature journal. You can pick it up to complete on your own or attend art class to design it, but it will have certain goals for summer learning. You will have June and July to complete it. Prize at the end for completion! If you want to participate message me!

Thanks to Maine Historical Society for coming all the way to Monson from Portland to teach us today! Also thanks to Sandra for a Destination Imagination team building exercise to follow up! So thankful for volunteers and their efforts for this program! ❤️
