In celebration of Dr. Fred J. Long, Jr.'s 75th heavenly birthday, we invite you to remember his life by making a donation to the Dr. Fred J. Long, Jr. Foundation to help continue his legacy! Since the foundation’s founding in 2011, we have awarded scholarships to over 25 high school graduates, who were pursuing post-secondary education opportunities.

Your donation will enable more students to receive the same types of community support as Dr. Long did, allowing him to excel at Shaw University, Meharry Medical College, and as a successful surgeon in Raleigh, NC.

Good afternoon family! Today in honor of Dr Fred J. Long Jr, the Foundation is recognizing the 5 scholarship recipients of 2021. This is the tenth year that we have invested in high school graduates in their pursuit of a college education. We thank all of those that helped achieve this momentous occasion with your donations and we challenge these recipients to move forward and be all that they aspire to be. Congratulations Teigan Henderson, Kahleah Gaither, Dajia Rucker, Iyssis Robinson and Imani Leach.
