Such a beautiful day to help fight hunger at the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk! So proud of Team Kappa and the fact that we exceeded our team goal and raised nearly $13,000 to fight hunger locally. ❤️🎉🌹

Charlotte CROP Walk raised $201,000 exceeding their $200,000 goal for 2022. And…..Team Kappa helped them reach their goal by raising $10,660! On Saturday, March 11, CROP Walk held their annual Recognition Event at St. John’s Baptist Church. Team Kappa was the top fundraiser in their category. Four of Team Kappa’s walkers were among the top fundraisers , raising over a $1000 each. Ann McCain raised $3820. The other three were Charlene Wertz, Martha Tillman, and Gloria Jones. Additionally, Martha Tillman was truly surprised when she won the prestigious We**ie Daniel Award for her long, dedicated service to CROP. Join us in giving a big round of online applause to our Team Kappa members who worked so hard to give back to the local community! 🎉🎉🎉

Thanks to everyone who supported “Team Kappa” as we raised over $10,000 to combat hunger locally in the annual Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk this afternoon. Our team ended up in third place for the Charlotte area. 🎉🥰💙

Congrats to our DKG-Kappa Chapter scholarship winner, Ms. Haley Skinner, on her graduation from Marvin Ridge High School this week. Haley plans to attend Samford University in the fall, majoring in Elementary Education! 🎉🎓🌹

We had a wonderful day of celebration at our annual Kappa picnic at Squirrel Lake Park yesterday. Mystery Bags, fellowship, and great food always make for a fun time! We’re also thankful for the service of our past chapter officers, and exited to welcome our new Kappa officers as they help lead Kappa for the next two years! 🎉🌹❤️

Thanks to the generous support of so many Kappa members and friends, “Team Kappa” was just honored for being one of the Top 100 “Cream of the Crop” fundraising teams in America for the annual CROP Hunger walk. We’re so honored to have helped to provide so much food for those in need in our local Charlotte community. Thanks again for all the support! 🎉🎉🎉
