This free workshop is designed specifically for nurses and medical professionals who may find themselves in the position of providing bereavement photography and creating meaningful memories for families experiencing perinatal loss.

You don’t have to be a professional photographer to make a profound difference. This workshop will provide practical guidance and compassionate tools for those moments when families need you most.

Four years ago, Gemma's Hope began with one simple mission: to make sure no family facing the loss of a baby has to walk that journey alone.

What started as an idea born from love and loss has grown into a community of compassionate donors, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and supporters who have helped us bring comfort and hope to families across our region.

💙 Over the past four years, together we've:
• Supported grieving families through our hospital partnerships.
• Created meaningful keepsakes that help preserve precious memories.
• Equipped healthcare professionals with compassionate bereavement education.
• Built a community that reminds families they are seen, remembered, and never alone.

Every care package assembled, every donation made, every volunteer hour given, every event attended, and every prayer offered has made a difference. None of this would have been possible without you.

As we celebrate this milestone, we're looking ahead with excitement. We have new partnerships, expanded education, and even more opportunities to serve families in the years to come.

📦 Can you help us make room for hope?

Gemma's Hope is looking for a donated storage unit or unused warehouse/business space to store bereavement supplies that support local hospitals and grieving families.

We provide our own shelving, keep the space clean and organized, and carry liability insurance. Every dollar we save on storage is another dollar that can go directly toward providing comfort and keepsakes to families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss.

We are in CRITICAL need of volunteers right now for several upcoming projects. We will be hosting volunteer time this weekend and next weekend at our headquarters in North Charlotte.

Help us make our steel weight packs for memory stuffed animals (a very fun assembly activity!), detangling and winding yarn for our blanket/heart projects, and helping us organize our supplies! The Shaw's famous chocolate chip cookies will be provided :)
