Last year at our fundraising event, we tried something a little different.

Instead of simply asking people to give, we invited them to step into a specific need—to sponsor a student, provide meals, stock a classroom, provide Bibles for our mentorship program, and more.

And you showed up. As this year has unfolded, we’ve watched every single one of those needs get met.

A student has a place in our program. A classroom is stocked with the supplies it needs. Students have shared meals around a soccer field. Young people have received Bibles to read, learn from, and grow through.

This is what generosity can do. It doesn’t just provide something. It creates possibility.

And we’re so grateful for everyone who chose to step in and make all of this possible.

Today we celebrate the country that forever changed our lives.

Thank you, Peru, for welcoming us, teaching us, and allowing us the privilege of walking alongside so many incredible people and communities.

Some stories come full circle. Luz’s is one of them. 💛

In 2023, Luz and her husband, Adhemir, took a courageous step by opening a small convenience store through our entrepreneurship program.

Over time, their hard work began transforming their family’s daily life. They improved their home, gained access to running water, and created a space where their daughter could have a room of her own. Luz also continued investing in herself by enrolling in university.

But perhaps the most beautiful part of Luz’s story is that her growth didn’t stop with her own family.

She began stepping into leadership at her church, encouraging other entrepreneurs in our program, and this year joined our tutoring program as a volunteer—pouring into children from her own community and helping create opportunities she once needed herself.

A student became a leader.

A participant became a mentor.

What began as an opportunity for one person is now extending outward—impacting children, families, and an entire community in ways we never could have imagined.

This is why we believe in transformation that multiplies.

Before there were programs, partners, or plans…
There was just a dream—born in the Amazon, fueled by love, and built on the belief that families shouldn’t have to break apart just to make ends meet.
This was Day 1.

When we first launched our after-school program during the pandemic, the goal was simple: help students catch up academically after months of school closures. And over time, we’ve watched so many of them do exactly that.

But as the years have gone on, we’ve also recognized a deeper need—literacy.

We’re seeing students in upper primary grades who still struggle to read fluently and write independently. And when those foundational skills are missing, every other subject becomes harder too.

So this year, we’ve made a shift. We’re focusing intentionally on reading and writing—helping students build the foundational skills that everything else depends on.

Celebrating 6 years in 6 swipes ✨

Six years ago, this started with a simple belief: that where someone is born shouldn't determine what opportunities they have access to.

Since then, we've traveled rivers, launched programs, celebrated graduates, cared for patients, and been invited into the stories of hundreds of children and families through seasons of joy, challenge, growth, and transformation.

Six years in, the greatest impact hasn't been the programs we've built—it's the people we've had the privilege of walking alongside. It’s about relationships. It’s about possibility. It’s about transformation that continues to multiply—far beyond what we could have imagined at the start.
