A Letter to FMF 💜

Sometimes the most powerful feedback isn’t a survey or a statistic—it’s a handwritten note from someone whose life was touched by the work we do.

“Thank you for listening to me when you came to Birmingham… I appreciated the referral… That eventually led me to [the support I needed].”

And the words that stayed with us most: “I’m just glad we met.”

This is why Frankie Mae Foundation exists. To listen. To connect. To refer. To remind caregivers that they don’t have to navigate everything alone.

Every conversation matters. Every connection matters. Every person matters. 💜

We started Frankie Mae Foundation because we saw that story up close. And the more we look, the more we realize it’s not a small story — it’s a global one. 186 million+ people worldwide are doing what caregivers in our own community do every day: showing up, quietly, without being asked.

We can’t fix a global crisis alone. But we can make sure the caregivers in front of us — the ones in our community, our inbox, our DMs — know they’re seen. That’s the work. That’s why we exist.
