CAPACITY BUILDING MATHEMATICS AND ENGLISH COMPETITION (CBM&EC) GRAND FINALE AND AWARD GIVING DAY 2022 HELD ON THE 4TH OF JUNE AT STAFF DEVELOPMENT CENTRE ABAKALIKI, NIGERIA.
The Capacity Building Mathematics Competition 2022 grand finale and award giving day started at exactly 9:00 AM with an opening prayers from a wonderful student.
The testimonies from the students who participated in the Capacity Building Mathematics and English Competition (CBM&EC) showed that indeed the competition was of a good aid to the students. Which gave them and edge to prepare and study more hard towads their West African Examination Council (WEAC). Most of the students who took the examination testified that, the examination really made them to go and study more, dig deep and be over prepared which made their WAEC a successful and simple one. The included that the examination questions were "more difficult" (brain tasking) than the WAEC questions.
Doctor Solomon educated the students and the audience at large on the nuggets of success both academically and in life too. He dwell intensively on Dedication, Determination and Deligence. Which led to the end of his success tips.
Then, the host came in and a quick question and answer session came in, titled "BRAINTEASER"
The students participated actively in the brain teaser. It was such an amazing segment, they indeed think so speedily, made quick analysis and even calculations just to get the correct answer for each of the questions dished out. Not only did they display high level of intelligence, they also did asked questions and as well giving answers to them. After the fun segment, the second talk was being made by Engineer Udumade.
Engineer Udumade began his section with a congratulatory message to the students for making it this far, urging them to keep studying and never give up, they should always aim high and stay high. After his introductory speech he welcome Mr. Daniel the Founder/Managing Director of the Rescuer and Friends Foundation ( The R Team) that connect live from South Korea via the zoom meeting where he expressed his gratitude for the commitment of the staff and the Co partners that worked very hard even in his absence and also appreciated the students for their high level of commitment and dedication.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction concerning the students performance in the competition. He concluded by charging the students to stick to commitment and personal capacity development that will make them stand out among their peers.
The co founder of Lift in Love international, Bunmi Moore also connect live from United States of America via the zoom meeting, she was delighted to connect with the students and the expression and jubilation was obvious amist the students, she started by appreciating the students for the modesty in dressing and appreance to the community. She admonished them to also be diligent in their daily life activities and to also believe in their capacity to execute anything they have designed in their hearts to execute and they will be able to deliver it to the fullest. She rounded up by appreciating the team for their commitment and dedication towards the competition.
The prize and award session was anchored by Owutoshi Solomon the Co-Founder of Lift in Love international where all the students were presented with Certificate of participation and the top ten students were awarded scholarships, school bags, mathematical set, note books and other learning materials- their names are as follows -

An award of excellence was presented to the Urban Model secondary school for the overall best student and second runner-up and Ebonyi State University Staff Secondary School was award the first runner-up.
Jubilation continued amist the students as they were served lunch and then a closing prayer session was held that brought the program to a close
