Seasons Greetings! We at RACES hope you have had safe, enjoyable moments with friends and family! We certainly appreciate these times of celebration and relaxation! However, the holidays go as quickly as they come. RACES has been on the go throughout this season, and has made some significant strides. Our “Character Initiative” demands our full attention year-round, and we’re excited about what’s to come in 2023! Like our page and request to be added to our mailing list! The RACE is on!

On September 29, 2022 Bena Ra Speret was awarded the coveted 11 Principles Character Exchange Certificate for demonstrating proficiency in the 11 Principles Character framework for Character.org!

On September 14, 2022, RACES presented a review of the NC Student Citizen Act of 2001 to Catawba County's US Representative Patrick McHenry's office (video attached)! This presentation launched our advocacy endeavor to lobby for Character Education in public school instruction!
